Once upon a time, two guys had an idea.

The idea for Net Conversion was born in the break room at Universal Orlando® Resort, where Ryan and Frank were both working in 2001. (Or perhaps during a round of beers after work.) At the time, Frank was responsible for Internet marketing and Ryan for analytics and pricing.

While honing their skills, the dynamic duo helped grow Universal’s online revenue from $1M to over $100M in less than 6 years. They knew other businesses could use their expertise, so in 2007, they struck out on their own and immediately attracted clients who wanted to leverage online marketing and analytics to increase business.

The two young visionaries began to realize the skills they were developing could be applied to a wide array of businesses. Many businesses were spending millions of dollars on websites and advertising with almost no idea whether they were putting their money in the right media, or if their online resources were achieving all they could.

Today, Net Conversion is more than just Ryan, Frank, Kenneth, Allan, Valarie and Stephanie; but it is a company that is helping clients throughout North America and the Caribbean succeed at driving business results online.

What is Ryan Thinking?

Ryan Fitzgerald dreams in pie charts and bar graphs. He is passionate about results and revenue. As a principal of Net Conversion, he spends hours pouring over excel spreadsheets and calculating the effectiveness of campaigns. He is committed to helping his clients understand the importance of these numbers and why they are so important.

Prior to joining forces with Frank, Ryan invested his analytical efforts in the travel industry, including the world’s biggest theme parks. While working for Walt Disney World, he was involved in a $300,000,000 CRM technology program, and at Universal Orlando Resort he managed over $500,000,000 in annual ticket revenue and developed targeted product offers generating $10M - $40M per year in incremental revenue.

Ironically, while Ryan is neurotic about numbers and infatuated with spreadsheets, he is remarkably articulate and fun to be around.

What is Frank Thinking?

Frank Vertolli is the calm during the storm. He is the guy who can see clearly and make decisions rationally when everyone else is losing their heads. And that’s why Frank has been so successful over the course of his career. Frank’s experience working in Internet marketing within the travel and tourism industry has given him tremendous insight into consumer targeting and behavior.

He knows what it takes to persuade consumers to act, he knows how to remove the hurdles from their decision making process. And this is why his clients are successful.

Prior to connecting with Ryan, Frank served in a variety of Internet Marketing roles for Universal’s global theme parks ranging from New Media Producer to eCommerce Sales Manager, and Director of Internet Marketing. From early content only websites and selling the first ticket online, through the dot com bubble, to $100 million in annual revenue. At Net Conversion, while Ryan obsesses over numbers, Frank is infatuated with the trackable marketing opportunities. And, of course, results.
